Who actually gets it right? Every rumour we log is recorded with the outlet that reported it, the date it first appeared, and how strong a claim they made. When a deal completes — or the window shuts without one — each entry is given a verdict. Those verdicts build the table below.
Method: an outlet reporting interest hasn't claimed a signing, so an unfulfilled link is marked No move and is not counted against their accuracy. Only concrete claims — a bid lodged, talks underway, a deal agreed — can be judged right or wrong. Accuracy is the share of those judged claims they got right (partials count half). Signal rate is the share of everything they reported that became a real transfer — the number that separates genuine scoops from volume.
